COVID-19 SCHOOL UPDATES

6/15/2020

Education during covid
We don’t know what the next weeks or months will look like, but as Christ-followers we are trusting in the Lord for wisdom, provision, safety and grace for our TSCS families and employees, our community, and people around the world.

As we look to the coming 2020-2021 school year, we intend and are preparing to have school in-person in August but are actively planning for a variety of scenarios, determining the best ways to deliver a quality and distinctively Christian education to your child(ren).  As we look to open our campus to students, we desire to do so safely.  Once the governor releases her guidance and requirements in early July, we will finalize our plan to promote a healthy environment on campus.  We  will keep you updated as those decisions are made.

The governor is allowing schools to open early this year as part of their Return-to-Learn Plan.  However, those hours do not count toward the 2020-2021 school year's required number of hours. Because our school was able to transition to distance learning so quickly in March and continue education through the rest of the semester, we will not need to start early.  Therefore, our first day of school will remain Monday, August 24th.

We appreciate your support as we pursue God's wisdom and seek His provision.

Principal
